Senior Infants were very busy during Maths week. While focusing on the topic of length, we made towers, compared and ordered them from shortest to tallest. We completed some pair work using cubes to estimate and measure lots of different things we use in the classroom such as our maths books, glue sticks, pencils and scissors.
We practised combining cubes to see how many different ways we can make 6. We made “Shapensteins” and engaged with fun maths addition movement breaks throughout the week. We really enjoyed ourselves and had so much fun!!
