On Friday the 27th of September we welcomed Mollie and Bronagh from Leitrim Ladies who won an All-Ireland title during the summer.
There was great excitement across the whole school as everyone decked out in the green and gold. Our artistic skills were very evident in 5th and 6th class that morning as we took into some face paint along with making some lovely Leitrim flags. The boys and girls asked Mollie and Bronagh some excellent questions about their training skills and preparation for the day, along with some questions about what it feels like to play in Croke Park. Everyone got to hold the Mary Quinn Memorial Cup and the two ladies very kindly signed many signatures on the day.
Thanks again to Mollie and Bronagh for bringing the cup into Scoil Mhuire Naofa! 🏆
