On Monday the 23rd of September our 5th and 6th class footballers were up bright and early to hit the road to Ballyhaunis in Co. Mayo. We were so delighted to have won this ‘Day at the Dome’ trip from Cumann na mBunscol Leitrim and to represent Co. Leitrim on the day.
Four other schools from the other four counties in Connacht were also there on the day and we were all split up into five different groups, which was great for mixing with others and making some new friends! We got to take part in many different activities including hurling, rounders and orienteering.
Overall, we had a fantastic day out at the Dome! 🎊
