Last Friday 6th class hosted their annual bake sale which was a lovely way to end Well-Being Week. We’d like to say a big thank you to all the children, parents, grandparents, family members, staff and friends who baked goodies or brought something sweet in for the bake sale. We were blown away by the amount of treats sent in and somehow there was nothing left by the end of the day! We had such a brilliant day with lots of fun activities. Well done to Isabella in 4th class who won the penalty shootout, Mia in 3rd class who guessed the name of the teddy (Lenny) and Harry in 3rd class who got the closest guess for the amount of sweets in the jar. Meanwhile the Amber Flag Committee and Student Council had a tough job picking the winners of the colouring competition! A huge thank you to everyone who came in and supported us on the day including parents, past pupils and even the gorgeous little babies! We are delighted to share that we raised a total of €970! Some of this money is being kindly donated to Pieta House as part of our involvement in the Amber Flag initiative this year. We hope everybody enjoyed the day as much as we did! 🎂
